Sporebound Larp Playtest June 28th

If you're around June 28th and want to help try out a new parlor larp we've been working on, come check out Sporebound, 80s Mushroom Symbiote resistance fighters against THE MAN. Except in this game, The Man is The Blue Blight, evil toxic mold that’s taken over the minds of the rich and the powerful, and you’re symbiotes of extra-dimensional mushrooms called The Mycos. The main themes are resistance against bad guys, leftist infighting, and holding on to the part of you that is human while fighting for the future. The game uses an easy to pick up card based system to represent your abilities and powers, and to encourage characters to work together.

For June 28th we’ll be playtesting our game for Pax Unplugged, where Sporebound are using the opportunity of a worker strike at a Green Tech company to investigate them being suddenly Not-So-Green, and deciding on a new leader and direction for the coming season. All characters will be provided, there will be no site fee, and pizza’s on us. If you've been looking for a game that can be a chronicle story parlor larp in something other than World of Darkness, come help us take a leap into the future, through a trip to the past.
